How to delete an asset / liability?

Modified on Fri, 18 Jun 2021 at 11:45 AM

To delete a asset or liability on vaultbox, click the Registry on the left of the screen. Simply go to the asset or liability you want to get rid of and click the delete icon on the far right of the row.

The following screen would appear. You can choose to erase all prior valuations data by checking the box.

Tentatively you may delete the current data point or a specific historical data point. To delete data points, first open the asset or liability to get a list of available data points. Hovering your mouse over the data points will reveal the dates, or you may examine the dates on the timeline x-axis.

Using the current vehicle loan liability has an example. We would be removing the data point 17/05/2021. Simply navigate back to the registry.

Now you should change the date to the specific data point that you want to delete.

Once you have selected the date, simply click the delete icon on the far right of the row. The following screen would appear. You may choose to also delete valuations before the selected date & also delete valuations after the date.

Once you have deleted the data point, it would immediately reflect on your overview. As you can see the data point for 17/05/2021 is no longer available.
