Assets and liabilities balance may go up and down over time due to various reasons such as increased valuation, new deposits or loan repayments.
We will now walk through an example of how vaultbox reflects these changing balances.
Enter an asset balance as normal, and you will see something like this:
If you drill-down into the asset, you will see a straight line on the line chart:
Edit the asset, and add a different value for a different date. For example, the above is for SGD 6,000,000.00 on the 16th March 2021. Let's change it to SGD 5,000,000.00 on the 14th March and Save:
In this particular case, we are editing in the past - so vaultbox gives a warning:
Click OK, then drill back down into the asset. You will see the new line chart as follows:
By putting the mouse over each data point, you can get additional information:
